LeisureCom Travel Group has expanded its reservations centre on the Gold Coast to keep up with demand as a result of the growth of its online accommodation network.
The fast growing accommodation business based in Southport has made alterations to its call centre set-up allowing growth from eight reservations staff in July to over sixteen by August effectively doubling its performance capabilities.
LeisureCom Reservations Manager Rebecca Tarrant has encouraged the growth and believes that even further growth will be required by the end of 2009.
“We have gone from having just four reservations staff six months ago to eight staff on our current team and still we are often finding it hard to keep up with demand” said Ms Tarrant.
“And with so many more websites in development set to generate more accommodation enquiries, it is only a matter of time before a further expansion will be necessary” She added.
The company expects a relocation of its corporate offices may be required to make way for expansion of the call centre facilities by end of year.
