3 December 2008 - Hope Island First National Charity Golf Day Sponsorship
LeisureCom was given the opportunity to sponsor a charity event held by Hope Island First National to raise some funds for the Demeshko family.
Anastasia is only 12 years old, following a routine blood test she was diagnosed with Leukemia, she went from being a fit, fun loving little girl one day, to being in hospital the next, having chemotherapy and fighting for her life.
Hope Island First National is well known in the area for their charity work, this year they have decided that Charity is best kept close to home and as such have decided to help this family.
We were privileged to have the opportunity to sponsor the event and donation a 3 night stay at the Element on Coolum and 4 of our Platinum membership packs to be auctioned off on the day to help raise some funds for this family.
